FNW: Thursday, September 5, 2013


Standards: Hum-FNW-3. Analyze factors that influence food choices and quality of diet.

Opening Warm-up AND/OR Activator (highlight one): Bellwork: Culture. Students will read the prompt and complete the student activity.

 

Work Session:  Whole group will check all Chapter 1 Assignments for a grade.

Direct Instruction: Teacher will present Discovery Education video: Setting goals for healthy eating. Students will complete Collaboration Listening and Viewing Guide. Students will take notes during the video in the left hand column and after the video find a partner and get their notes. {30 minutes}
