Reinforce Assignment: [TRG] p. 195~ Teen Issues and Parent Issues: Divide the whiteboard in half at the top of one side write Teen Issues, other side Parent Issues. Ask students to list issues they feel their parents don't understand about them. Then students will list issues they don't understand about their parents. Class discussion on what they think is the reason behind the apparent lack of mutual understanding.
4. Enrich Activity: [TRG p.197]: Giving a Gift of Appreciation. This activity guides students to write words of appreciation to give to a family member. After composing the words of appreciation students will create a greeting card and place the word of appreciation inside. Have students give their cards to the people for whom they composed. Student volunteers can share.
