3. Introduction Activities:
I. Autograph hunt
II. Compare/Contrast: In groups of six each student will list 1 thing that all have in common and1 thing that is different. The leader will give one of each in the class discussion.
Closing Summarizer: List one class expectation/rule on post it note

Instructional Plan: 1. Introduction activity: Grouping using envelope~ students will use other half of paper to identify 4 things in each corner. Students will discuss as a group and share with the class.
2. Beyond Scared Straight video clips (2-2min. clips)
3. Goals & Mission Statement activity PPt, index cards, colored construction paper
Closing Summarizer: Discuss Beyond Scared Straight vs. Goals/Mission statement for life
