Opening Warm-up AND/OR Activator (highlight one): 1st block:


Work Session: Quiz: Career Exploration (2nd block)
After the quiz:
1st & 2nd block 1. Students will complete any assignments from Thursday 29th.

2. Teacher will discuss the Tic Tac Toe assignment (Chapter 1).
-teacher will explain each assignments and expectations-Q & A



Closing/Summarizer: Write down any question you want answered Tuesday about the assignment.


Daily Homework:  Chapter 1 Tic Tac Toe grid.

List two reasons you should do a career research.

Work Session; 1. Quiz: Career Exploration (1st block)
After the quiz:
 1st & 2nd block :Chapter 1
2. Students will work on new standard: circle action words (verbs). Bellwork- Student will  answer: What does wellness mean to me?
3. Teacher will introduce and discuss new standard, EQ & chapter. Students will share responses to Bellwork.
Activator: teacher will discuss wellness continuum (rf#3) ppt. Introductory Activity
4. Students will work independently on “lifestyle assessment” handout.


Closing/Summarizer: Exit Slips various questions

2. Students will complete an action plan “writing an action plan” workbook pg 3-4
3. Students will complete chapter vocabulary p.7
4. Students will start to work on Review Key concepts p.15 –all the questions- *write the questions*
