ICA-Blue Day
2nd block
Warm Up:Discuss ProStart questions 2-5 from p215.*TOTD from last class meeting*
2. Student CD cooking terminology part 2: students will come to the computer and choose the correct match for the terms.


Instructional Plan:  1. CIA Video: Dry Heat Cooking: Roasting students will take notes on Compare/Contrast Graphic Organizer (Baking & Roasting)
2. Students will define some culinary terminology in preparation for the cooking lab.

3. Whole class will plan cooking lab for Wednesday:
-read recipe(s)

-planning sheet


Closing Summarizer:List two reasons why we cook food.

 Warm Up: 
Student CD Chapter 15 terminology part 1. Students will match the responses on the computer.


Instructional Plan: 1. Complete Cooking Methods Posters: Students were assigned one of the three cooking methods and created a poster with the definiton and illustration.
2. CIA Video Dry Cooking Method: Students will watch two Dry Cooking methods and complete Collaboration notes with a partner.



Closing Summarizer: TOTD: Prostart book p.215 questions 2-5 *write the questions*
