FNW~Updates

1. Blue day~ The chapter 5 quiz was rescheduled for Monday, Oct. 4th.
2. White day ~ Chapter 5 quiz will still be Friday, Oct. 1st.

Students were assigned a Tic-Tac-Toe grid assessment Chapters 6 { Carbohydrates} and Chapter 7 {Proteins & Fats}: Tic Tac Toe #1 is due:
   White day~ October 5th
   Blue day~ October 6th
Tic Tac Toe # 2 is due:
    White day ~ October 7th
     Blue day ~ October 8th

FACS

We are still working on the Early Childhood Standard: Deciding to be a Parent & Pregnancy. In the next  couple days they will have Chapter 8 Test, homework as it relates to birth defects, and  a group technology project.

FNW: Extra Credit

FNW students are being given the opportunity to earn extra credit points on their Unit 1 test. It is due one week from the day they receive the handout....

WE ARE IN CHAPTER 8 PREPARING FOR CHILDREN: DECIDING ABOUT PARENTING AND PREGNANCY..WE ARE DOING A VARIETY OF ACTIVITIES WITH A STRONG EMPHASIS ON TEEN PARENTING.

 1. I PASSED OUT PINNACLE INFORMATION WHICH GIVES YOU ACCESS TO GRADES AND ATTENDANCE/TARDIES TO THE STUDENTS THAT STATED THEY NEEDED THE INFORMATION..

2. THEY WERE GIVEN INFORMATION ABOUT SCHOOL PICTURES. PICTURES WIILL BE TAKEN SEPTEMBER 16TH & 17TH. THEY WILL PAY THE PHOTOGRAPHER. PICTURES WILL BE TAKEN WHILE THEY ARE IN THEIR LANUAGE ARTS CLASSES.

3. I AM STILL GIVING OUT LOCKERS WHEN YOUR CHILD TURNS IN THE THREE SIGNED PAPERS.

Food, Nutritition, & Wellness

We are finishing up Unit 1 with Chapter 4: Food Science & Technology. There will be a Unit Test, Monday(9/13) & Tuesday (9/14) chapters 1~4.

Sewing Projects: The deadline was extended to Friday, September 10th. They can pay with cash, check or money order. This project is 30% of their final grade.
